About me
I
have
a
strong
track
record
of
delivering
value
to
enterprise
and
B2B
customers
through
design.
Over
four
years,
most
of
them
at
Genesys,
I've
sharpened
my
craft
on
complex,
high-stakes
problems
where
the
same
challenge
kept
surfacing:
taking
dense,
high-utility
software
and
making
it
feel
considered
rather
than
merely
functional.
What
drew
me
to
design
is
what
still
drives
me:
building
things
that
are
genuinely
useful.
As
I've
deepened
my
craft,
that's
come
to
mean
less
about
the
pixels
and
more
about
the
process
—
pushing
for
user
testing
before
assumptions
harden
into
decisions,
working
closely
with
engineers
and
PMs
rather
than
handing
off
finished
specs,
and
staying
precise
in
implementation
so
that
the
design
vision
survives
contact
with
reality.
Design,
to
me,
happens
as
much
in
collaboration
as
it
does
on
the
canvas.
Originally
from
the
UK,
I'm
relocating
to
Virginia
in
the
US
with
my
wife.
Outside
of
work,
I'm
usually
running
(both
road
and
trail)
and
I'm
currently
training
for
the
Washington
DC
Marathon
after
finishing
the
Chester
Half
Marathon
earlier
this
year.
When
I'm
not
running,
I'm
probably
reading
or
out
with
my
dog,
Lars.
